NATURAL DISASTER
Do you still remember the catastrophic tsunami that
happened in Banda Acheh back in 2004? How can we
forget the Indonesian father who has lost his five
children at once? How about the one that corrupted
Japan in 2011? Or the Japanese old woman who cried
over the loss of her house and other belongings? Every
soul mourns and prays every single time tragic disasters
happen in any part of the globe. Tornados, volcano
eruptions, earthquakes and flash flood are a few of the
common disasters that have hit earth. There are many
things that we can actually learn from the occurrences of
natural disasters. Yet, we never learn anything from it.
After few months, or worse only after few days, we go
back to our ignorant life. God has sent his army to make
us realise of the oblivious life we are leading. God wants
us to repent, appreciate our life and the lives of others
around us and always be more prepared to face the
occurrences of natural disaster.
Repent is very important. After the natural disaster, we
must repent or regret what had we done wrong to cause
the natural disaster. Humans done many wrong things to
cause nature disasters. For example, humans burn forest
for buildings.
Apart from repenting, appreciating our life is also
important. If any disasters happen, never turn back to
take money. Do not hesitate and run for your life. Money
is not worth exchanging our life.
We also need to be more prepared for any natural
disasters. When you notice an obvious rise or fall in water
level, please run immediately. There is a huge tsunami
coming towards your way, remember to take enough
water or food.
In conclusion, we need to learn and never forget the
lesson we learnt from the natural disasters.
