1913
The NJSACOP Monthly State Chiefs Meeting for January 1913 was held in Westfield , NJ . Vice President Frank Monahan occupied the chair . As recorded in the meeting minutes
Owing to the death of our late president George G . Tenney no official business be transacted . Vice President Frank Monahan occupied the chair and confirmed the following resolutions .
Resolved that members of the Association meet at Police Headquarters Elizabeth , at eight-thirty AM and attend the funeral as a body .

1922
Chief William Dettmar The NJSACOP Monthly State Chiefs Meeting for January 1922 closed with the announcement by
Chief Dettmar of the Trenton Police Department that he had “ retired as Chief from the department on January 1 , and that he requested that the association take no cognizance of it by a present or lunch as he would not accept it , on motions a rising vote of thanks was tendered the chief extending him our very best .”
1937
Hawthorne Police Chief Vanderwalk reported that “ Passaic County Chiefs of Police had formed an association , and would be glad to cooperate with this or any other , police association .”
1940
Chief Peter Siccardi
At the January State Chiefs Meeting , Former NJSACOP and IACP President Chief Peter Siccardi , recently retired from the Bergen County Police Department , asked for “ the privilege of the floor ,” and then addressed the membership , stating that
He felt at this time that being retired he wanted the Chiefs to know that he appreciated everything they did in his interests while an active member of this association , in elevating him to Presidency of the State Association and with their assistance the Presidency of the International and though he was retired he would serve the association or any member in any way he could and that the officers could call on him for anything they felt they wanted him to perform .
1941
The January 1941 State Chiefs Meeting was held at the Public Safety Building in Nutley , NJ . The Treasurer gave the annual association financial report , which indicated an ending balance in the association ’ s accounts for 1940 in the amount of $ 3,229.85 .
Thereafter , “ President Roff spoke about the three schools being sponsored by the association which would start this month , and in which all members were notified by the Secretary , and asked that the Chiefs send their men to these schools as the good derived would reflect on the individual departments .”
Chief Dolan suggested “ that in departments where ‘ summer ’ cops or Specials were being used , that these men should be given a training by the Chiefs of these departments during the winter months .”

1952
The NJSACOP Monthly State Chiefs Meeting for January 1952 was held in Haledon , NJ . The association ’ s President , Franklin Borough Police Department Chief Herbert Irons , introduced
An old friend of the Chiefs , Mr . Bailey Barker , Vice President of the Federal Laboratories who had been invited to attend and demonstrate the new ALCO-METER that his company had on exhibition at the Miami Conference and which so many of the N . J . Chiefs evidenced interest in and suggested that he bring it to one of our State Meetings . Amid much confusion and noise Mr . Barker attempted to demonstrate this very fine instrument . He was given a round of applause and was invited to stay and take part in the venison dinner that had been arranged by Chiefs Willis and Pierson .
1953
The NJSACOP Monthly State Chiefs Meeting for January 1953 was held in Lyndhurst , NJ . During the report of the Association ’ s Committees , Traffic Committee Chair Matthew Bolger presented a Resolution which read , in part :
