Memorial Service Cancelled
The current crisis that our state, nation and the
world is facing has resulted in the need to cancel
the NJ Annual Law Enforcement Memorial
Service, which was scheduled for
Tuesday, May 19 th in Ocean Grove.
The NJ State Association of Chiefs of Police and
the NJ Police Chiefs Foundation are currently
working on alternative plans to honor the NJ
Law Enforcement Officers who lost their lives in
the line of duty this past year, as well as those
who made the ultimate sacrifice over the past
150+ years. It is important that we maintain our
commitment to remember these officers and
their families, and we will ensure they receive the
honor that they deserve. However it may be able
to be done this year, we promise to always
remember their sacrifices.
