I was very impressed with the
fact that in 2011, there were
million people were born in
Nigeria and all of Europe had
?ve million children. That
means that Nigeria is a very
young country growing up and
Europe is a very old continent,
not declining though but
staying at the same place. I
think if Nigeria gives
education, professional
information, jobs to these
youths, it would be a very big
country but if Nigeria doesn't
give jobs, education, and
professional information to
these people, Nigeria would
suffer very great problems.
The main thing is providing
the youth opportunities to
grow.”
“I believe that Bahia is the
biggest city of Nigerians out
of Nigeria. Perhaps Cuba is
the second one. Cuba has a
huge migration from Nigeria
but mainly from the Yoruba's
and Hausas.”
On a ?nal note, Mr. Franklin
Martins advised The Nigerian
Voice Newspaper to “bother
less with the people that are
up, bother with the people that
don't know how to speak very
well, perhaps they don't know
how to write very well. They
don't have a university degree
but they are making a living.
They are educating their
children, they are bringing
them up, they are building the
country, and they are the most
important people, the simple
people, so write for them.”
