YouTube

By Nikita Stewart

YouTube is a video-sharing website that was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion. The site allows users to upload, view, and share videos. Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, but media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via YouTube, as part of the YouTube partnership program. Unregistered users can watch videos, and registered users can upload videos to their channels.

Youtubers:

Youtubers are people that upload videos to YouTube of them talking to a camera. As simple as that, each youtuber focuses on a different subject to talk about such as DIYs, fashion, music, gaming, decorations for your house and sometimes they just talk to the camera about their life.

My favorite youtubers are "mylifeaseva", Bethany mota, "mamamiamakeup", "laurDIY" and Jenna marbles.

I think YouTube is amazing because it lets people express themselves and share their passion with the world.
