Nelson Rohilahla Mandela

( 8 July 1918- 5 December 2013)

- Lifework: South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.

- Contribution: Mandela had a great part in the wars against negro slavery and making the rights of white people be identical to those of the black.

Each one of these men was an amazing leader and an important  character in world history and even when people tried to stop them - they didn’t give up. They believed in things that no one believed in and weren't scared of what people thought and just fought for everything they believed in!
