English Lesson at the Tel Aviv Port
This month the 7th grade English speakers class went out of school with the English teacher, Karen, to the Tel Aviv port for a video introducing the English classes in Ironi Hey and explaining how we learn in a creative way for the future 7th graders and for the school. All of the kids really liked it and took part in the making of it.
If We Don't Travel - We Don't Study!
This month all the students in the country went on a strike because the Teachers' Union decided to cancel the annual field trips because of certain reasons. The Student Council decided that all the students in the country should strike and not go to school on a certain date.
"If we don’t travel, we don’t study!" was the motto. The strike was only for one day and the next day we went to school. The decision of having a year trip or canceling it isn’t clear yet. We are still hoping.
A Field Trip
This month the seventh graders went on a field trip to the city of Ashdod. The students caught a train with their teacher and got off at the Ashdod station. They went to see several sights and at the end they went for a hike in the sand dunes near Ashdod.
