CATS

Robert College has been invaded by the most unexpected animal: cats. Cats have
been increasing in number rapidly in the last few months. It is not even surprising to
cross paths with one. Some people like cats and find them a way to get rid of stress by
petting them but majority consider them as a threat.
The main reason they are considered a threat is because they enter the school
buildings. A few weeks ago my friends and I were eating our lunch in cafeteria then
something touched my leg but I thought it was my friends’ prank so I didn’t care but then
something jumped on me and meowed looking at my lunch.
Of course there are many different reasons to not want cats on the campus, for
example: Some people are afraid of cats and some have allergies to them, and there are
even people who walk where they see them because their fear of cats.
Having interviewed a few classmates about the cats, I was shocked about one
answer, Can Gizer from LP-9 stated, “I think cats are a minor problem in Robert but there
are too many of them and they even disturb our classes or sometimes they scare me and
slow me down when I try to avoid them.”
One of my friends, who wanted his name to remain anonymous, expressed his
