In this issue , you will notice a heavy focus on Multifamily , and rightfully so . Our team , led by Travis D ’ Amato and Michael Coyne , had an exceptional year in 2016 . In fact , they finished # 1 in the market and had over $ 1 billion in total volume for the first time in JLL history . We are excited to be able to shed a brighter light on this product type and this team .
We approach the business in an integrated manner and recognize the important role Multifamily plays in that integration . We know that most investors have objectives across product types and the knowledge and relationships gained from sharing information provides us with critical insight on trends , mandates and activity that we hope is valuable for you , our clients .
