belleair On a February Saturday morning, dogs and their humans braved the cold and took a walk in the park to benefit community parks. The town of Belleair hosted a Bark in the Park to help raise money for the park on February 2 with a continental breakfast that was pretty phenomenal for humans. Co-host, Fluffy Puppies of Clearwater had plenty of freshly-baked dog treats and bacon treats for the happy canines. Every walker who signed up received a complimentary subscription to The New Barker and a bright bandana from In Dog We Trust. Foxi Roxi, a six-year-old Shiba Inu. Sam a three-year-old Boxer. Sophia, a five-year-old Wheaton Terrier, was looking for her complimentary copy of The New Barker, a dog treat and bandana from In Dog We Trust. Siggy, a seven-year-old Bulldog had his own chariot (a wagon) being pulled by his humans. What a life. Sunny (below) is a bright-eyed Labradoodle. Photography by Anna Cooke. Directly across Lake Eola is a Panera Bread, located in a very cool restored 1930’s building. The big front porch was buzzing with customers and their dogs, including Cassi and Putter, both Golden Doodles, and Laura, an Airedale with their human, Joanie.
