Laura Garrity-Arquitt , Museum Registrar and organizer of Holy Fools to Wonderworkers , leads a tour of the exhibit , explaining the distinctions between martyrs , stylites , prophets , ascetics and other types of Orthodox saints , and how they are depicted in iconography .

Museum Sage is an activity that invites people to ask a question that has personal meaning for them and receive insight from a work of art , with the assistance of a trained Museum Sage Guide . The process connects you more deeply with yourself , and allows you to experience the art ( in our case , icons ) and the Museum in a new way . So come have some fun , and explore your inner sage !
Sessions will begin at 5:30 and 6:30 . The Museum Sage process is appropriate for adults and mature teens .
