As we enter 2017, we’ re looking for a few good MVHA Boosters to help our organization stay strong as Mountain View continues to make history! Please read on to learn how.
1. Board of Directors Vacancies As you may have noticed from the roster on page 2, a variety of MVHA Board positions remain open! We could really use a few new Board members to help us plan our projects and events. The Board is happy to work with you to find a position that matches your talents, interests, and availability. The time commitment is small: four Board meetings a year, four events a year( and you need not attend all of them!). If you’ re interested, please do not hesitate to let us know! 2. Renew Your Membership. For those who pay annual membership dues, we hope you’ ll join us for 2017!
3. Give the Gift of Membership. Do you know someone who just moved to Mountain View? Or maybe someone who moved away but misses their hometown? Or maybe just a friend or relative fascinated by our city’ s history that’ s not a member? For any of those folks, a membership to the MVHA makes a great gift!
4. Become a Lifetime Member. If you plan on being a member for the longhaul, then consider becoming a lifetime member. You’ ll never have to worry about renewing again, and your lifetime membership fee will help us take on new projects and events.

Happy New Year! As I transition to membership chair, I’ d like to thank June Casey for all her years of service in this role. Currently, I am in the process of digitizing our membership information. I look forward to working with everyone in the upcoming year.
