This has become particularly the case with motor vehicles. Not too long ago, if you wanted an SUV, you only had a limited pool of cars to choose from. Nowadays though, you can have a very large SUV, a very small SUV and a mid-size one too. This has even been broken down into brands, with manufacturers diversifying their options drastically. Quite recently, we had the opportunity to sample the new Mercedes-Benz GLC, a medium size SUV competing with the likes of BMW’s X3 and Audi’s Q5. Personally I’m not a huge fan of cars in this segment but after driving a number of these cars, one understands why they’re so popular with many middle aged buyers seeking more space and practicality. Design: The GLC’s outward appearance is a combination of strong lines and traditional Mercedes-Benz features, which create an eye pleasing result.
