June President’s Letter
You guys! We have a Treehouse Meeting on June 7th, 1200 PDT/ 1500 EDT/ 2000 BST.
What is a Treehouse Meeting? I’m glad you asked. We meet at the treehouse in Savage Coast (in TSW) and join Teamspeak. It’s a good opportunity to discuss news, issues and plan events. Moreover, it’s just plain fun. All us slayers, so many bunny slippers and fezes, one little treehouse...good times.
This tradition started with BooGirl, before Boo was our first president. In fact, electing our first president was the topic of the very first treehouse meeting. Back then, it was called a “clubhouse” meeting. Weird.
Attire for meetings is bunny slippers, monster hunter jacket and fez. The outfit is entirely optional. Bunny slippers are from the item store and are mentioned in the original recruitment thread. (Honestly, the silly bunny slippers made me want to join the cabal.) The monster hunter jacket is an achievement reward for hunting all the rare bosses in game. The lair raider jacket is an alternative. Finally, the fez. Fezzes are cool. Available in the item store.
Again, the dress code is optional, but it is pretty cool seeing a large group of us dressed like a cult sitting in the treehouse.
So be sure to make the meeting. It’s a ton of fun. If you can’t make the meeting, we’ll record it and put it in the meeting archives.
