the Monster Slayer Chronicles April 2015 | 5
the gaming zone
April does not have a lot of game releases, and I am not especially looking forward to any of these games.
-Project CARS looks stunning graphics wise. The creators have paid a lot of attention to the details regarding realism in driving and the mechanical parts of the cars. The game will be one of the most realistic racing simulators, allowing players to start a career in any franchise, including karting, rally, GT and touring. There will also be a game mode where you can play co-op with a friend as Driver/Co-Driver and a mode to create and manage a full team to compete against friends and challengers.
-Grand Theft Auto V' will finally be released on PC after several delays, boasting a fancy new multiplayer mode and better graphics.
-Mortal Kombat X’s graphics and gameplay look amazing in the trailers. A new fully connected experience launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy.
-Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is an upcoming upgrade and bundle that will bring the game to Playstation 4 and XBox One.
-Bloodsports.TV is a bloodthirsty, Gladiator-style arena five-player co-op game set in a post-apocalyptic, third millenium. The graphics are Borderlands-like and look pretty nice. The gameplay is similar to a MOBA except PVE- tower-defense-like where your team’s objective is to prevent waves of mobs (and bosses) from reaching your base.
-Dungeons II will not just focus on the underworld but will actually allow the Dungeon Lord to capture the overworld as well. After watching various gameplay videos, it does appear that the game is a giant step forward from the original dungeons, and will likely be an interesting game in the genre. The game will also have various multiplayer modes.
