April President’s Letter

As a multi-faction TSW cabal flirting with other games, we have an amazing gaming community with LoMS.

Our factions complement each other: the in-it-to-win-it Illuminati, the crusading Templars and the Dragon agents of change. In a broader sense: the people who are serious, the silly ones, the casual, the hard core, the role players, the dungeoneers, all that plus the delicious trinity of cakes, cookies and pies. We’ve created a helpful, fun atmosphere.

Attrition is the natural enemy of an MMO community. Some of us wandered to new games. Some of us play less often for lack of fresh content. Across time zones and languages, it’s too easy become disconnected. LoMS is fortunate that our population has only grown since founding. Lots of fresh names and new players keep us going while other cabals of our vintage have died. The disconnect between the veteran and the new players is real but it will not defeat us.

This newsletter was designed to provide a touchstone for all Slayers, regardless of game. We want your field reports from exotic locales like Nexus or Tamriel. We want your reviews, guides, walk-throughs, hints, tips, opinions, book suggestions and news.

As you log into game or onto the website, remember that we are a community.

We balance each other and provide stability. We make each other stronger.
