The Behavioral
Activity of a Secular
Bull Market
RALPH ACAMPORA
MEET Face to Face
Director of Technical
Studies, New York Institute
of Finance
Mastering the Market
Option data—price and
volume—can often be
used to structure trading
indicators or systems
designed to predict the movements of the
broad stock market. In this seminar, we’ll
review the prominent ones (put-call ratios,
$VIX, etc.) and bring you up to date on
what these indicators are “saying” at the
current time.
Using Intraday
Technicals and
Patterns to Uncover
Winning Trades
MEET Face to Face
HARRY BOXER
Author
The Technical Trader
Technical analyst and stock picker Harry
Boxer will demonstrate, with live charts, how
to use intraday technicals and patterns to
uncover trading candidates on intraday and
daily charts. He will discuss how to identify
fast-moving stocks early in the session, as
well as the importance of accompanying
volume in determining the quality of an
intraday move. You will also learn ways to
gauge strong relative volume and what Harry
has coined as the “price/volume surge.”
Ralph Acampora firmly believes that the
March 2009 low was “a generational bottom,”
and that this benchmark low has set in
motion a secular bull market. By definition,
a secular move can last a couple of decades.
The last time we saw this move was between
1982 thru 2000. Dow Theory followers know
that there is a structural sentiment element
to this advance. It starts with “fear” and ends
with “complacency bubble.” Find out why he
believes that we have not seen the end of this
sentiment play out yet.
