Story and Mission
What is your mission ?
The mission of Ransom Ministries is to empower those we serve to utilize their God-given gifts and talents in their career and community .
How long have you been serving the Gulf Coast ?
Ransom Ministries was founded in 2010 by Matt and Tara Armbruster after they attended a Bible study urging Christians to stop playing church and start living a life of true faith and dependence on God . They have been serving the Gulf Coast for over 11 years .

Ransom ReProgram is a job readiness and soft skills training program that provides participants with tools to help them overcome barriers to employment , helping them move out of dependency and into personal responsibility and a fulfilling career . Participants work with mentors and are taught spiritual principles about work and relating to others . It is a controlled work and learning environment for those reentering society from incarceration , addiction or homelessness . Participants take old , broken , outdated , endof-life electronics apart to harvest the things that are of value in them . They have the opportunity to earn a legitimate wage while getting the life skills , and job readiness training that will help them become an excellent employee . The goal is to prepare the participants , to obtain a better job in their chosen career field . In addition to the opportunity Ransom Recycle creates for ReProgram students and graduates , it also generates selfsustaining income for Ransom Ministries .

4 . RANSOM EXPERIENCE PODCAST
Ransom Experience brings you Raw and Real stories of people who have graduated from Ransom Reprogram or have volunteered with Ransom Ministries over the years . We talk with men and women that share their stories of struggles . Some of them have been incarcerated , many have experienced trauma , abuse , and / or homelessness . Some have battled with addiction , but all have chosen to use their struggles to propel them to perseverance , restoration , and joy . They share their lives with the listeners in order for others to understand the obstacles that they have overcome to get them where they are now . You will also hear from people who have had their lives changed from building relationships and serving those who many times are forgotten in our society . The hope is that people will see that these individuals are still people - normal , everyday people , who just need someone to listen and to care . The goal of this podcast is to help us see people the way God sees them .

They are seeking 10 sponsors at $ 25,000 to purchase the Scrap Metal processor and put people back to work . Contributions towards the processor will have a lasting effect for years to come ; not just for the year in which they are given . Partners can make an investment that will have a long term impact , not only on the individuals being served and their families , but also on our environment and community .
