to clear up any misconceptions related to the topic. The L stands for what has been learned through the experience and is completed at the end of instruction.

Implementing the Quick Writes

This action research took place for approximately five weeks. Each week a different quick write was implemented during class instruction at the discretion of the instructor. The instructors were able to choose one of the five quick writes to implement each week which best fit their topic or lesson for the course period. The table displays a summary on how each instructor implemented the quick writes with their students. The students in course are education major referred to as teacher candidates (TCs).
