The Missouri Reader Vol. 39, Issue 2 | Page 4

It has been an absolute joy and honor serving as your

editors of The Missouri Reader for these past two years.

We were able to meet amazing people, present locally

to nationally among brilliant colleagues, and fan the

flames of our literacy passion by working among the

greatest superstars in the profession. Through this

opportunity, we have discovered many talented class-

room teachers and other literacy professionals willing

to share their classroom experiences, personal research,

and enthusiasm for all things literacy. As we reflect, we

know that we were truly blessed to be part of such a

tremendous journey of transforming this journal from its

prior PDF version to the amazing, practical, and fully

interactive one you are reading this very moment. With sadness we must say, our time as editors of TMR has come to a close. Jennifer is ready to begin dissertation writing, and Julie is taking on new leadership responsibilities at our university. Therefore, it is time to pass the honor to the next literacy lovers in the state of Missouri. We would be delighted to teach and train the next ones who take over the helm. Please contact us if the next Co-editor of The Missouri Reader is YOU!!!

Until we see you at the next conference...Blessings!
