GRATEFUL MUSEUM A Community for Science by Alexandra Limcaco, Donor Relations Assistant Manager ive years ago The Mind Museum opened to the public. Since then, we F regions have moved over one million minds; welcomed school field trips from 1 – 13 including the National Capital Region, Cordillera Autonomous Region and the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao; run blockbuster educational programs that have brought guests closer to nature; and created award-wining travelling exhibitions that have reached the shores of the Visayas and Mindanao. This five-year journey in learning has been remarkable. We could not have done all of these wondrous feats without the support of our corporate and family donors. However, complementary to them and just as vital, The Mind Museum would not be a reality without also the generosity of our individual donors. Whether by sponsoring a star, comet, galaxy or periodic table element in our Virtual Exhibits, these individuals placed themselves firmly behind science, and their personal commitment to education has also helped bring us to where we are today. An astronomical thank you to all our corporate, family and individual donors! We are forever grateful for such wholehearted contributions. The doors to marvelous learning are open because of all of you. We promise you even more inspiring learning experiences in the years to come. A very happy 5th birthday to all of us! The Mind Museum story is your story too. 8
