- Milton Glaser
Pushpin achieved international recognition and distinction. In
1970, they were the first American studio to exhibit their
products at the prestigious Musée des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.
In 1976, Glaser left Pushpin and formed his own company
Milton Glaser Inc. and expanded the design portfolio of his
new company into other disciplines like interior décor and
design of supermarkets and restaurants.
Later, Glaser developed an interest in publishing and he soon
established New York magazine in 1968. In 1983, he founded
WBMG, a magazine and newspaper design studio, with Walter
Bernard (a former art director at Time). Among his publication
credits is Paris Match, L’Express, Esquire, The Washington Post,
Fortune magazine and Banaradia (Barcelona).
