1. SHOP Los Angeles is full of high-end designer stores; none of which I can afford. Yes, it’s wonderful to see the stores on Rodeo Drive, but unless you have a spare million in your pocket, there’s no point in entering. There is one store that stole my heart: Kitson. It’s only available in Los Angeles and stocks some amazing products. It’s great for clothing and accessories, but it’s best known for its quirky souvenirs - for those of you that are sick of “I love Los Angeles” magnets.

2. EAT Without a doubt, the best place for dinner is Beso in Hollywood. It’s owned by Eva Longoria. The seafood is fresh and delicious, and they also boast an amazing wine list. The tuna steak is a must.
3. BRUNCH The Ivy is known for two things: celebrities and its decor. We only saw the latter, but the food was great and the fresh fruit juices were even better.
