The Mind Creative Editorial cartoons employ humour but are of in a more serious tone (if there is anything like a serious cartoon!). The art is employed as a visual metaphor to underline a point of view or argument about a political or social topic. Comic strips, on the other hand, are a common occurrence in most newspapers and comprise of a short series of cartoon illustrations. These comic strips sometimes depict adventure and drama woven through humour and this style is extremely popular among readers of daily newspapers.
