The Mind Creative
Editorial cartoons employ
humour but are of in a more
serious tone (if there is
anything like a serious
cartoon!).
The
art
is
employed
as
a
visual
metaphor to underline a
point of view or argument
about a political or social
topic.
Comic strips, on the other
hand,
are
a
common
occurrence
in
most
newspapers and comprise of
a short series of cartoon
illustrations. These comic
strips sometimes depict
adventure and drama woven
through humour and this
style is extremely popular
among readers of daily
newspapers.
