A dreamy cherub high above the yonder post,
Mulling movement or relaxed quietude,
A sudden flash of inspiration
Like the flow of molten thought,
The exquisitely terraced landscape of clouds
Hugging the curve of the blue heavenly
shroud,
The rhythmic rise and fall
Of the wings of a solitary bird hurrying home,
The paper kites straining at their leash
Nudging to gain
a little more of the pie of the sky,
The many hued green of the trees
slowly turns into a silhouette,
The air hangs thick
as if in suspense,
Waiting with bated breath
for the mystery to unfold yet again,
As the blue of the sky turns into azure
And the dusk majestically reclines on the bed
of night.....!
