Movie buffs might not recollect this name and some us may not
even fully understand what he does for a living. Kevin O’Connell
is a re-recording or sound mixing engineer in Hollywood. In fact
he is one of best sound engineers in the history of Hollywood
whose name has been attached to some of the biggest box-office
hits in tinsel town.
It is quite unfortunate that Kevin O’Connell has another dubious
reputation. He holds the record (in the history of Academy awards)
for having had the most Oscar nominations without a single win!
O’Connell has had 20 nominations so far and the Academy voters
have looked away each time.
