We have also established workshops dealing with simple shadow puppet creations where we have stressed the importance of conservation of nature, resources and animals. Having emphasized the importance of learning through and with puppets, there is nothing more important than to be able to use the language of puppet theatre successfully; not use it as a tool to thrust one’s ideas but to invite, evocate and speak together as a group. This then would be the true essence of the use of puppetry in educational practices. 32
