Social Network and A Few Good Men, likes
to act out his dialogues while looking into
the mirror. In 2010, he worked himself into
a frenzy, head-butted a mirror and ended
up with a broken nose.

VICTOR HUGO
He wrote both Les Misérables and The
Hunchback of Notre-Dame in his birthday
suit. Being completely nude stopped him
from leaving home in the middle of his
writing. In fact, during these sessions, he
would advise his valet to hide his clothes
so that could not leave the his house.

MAYA ANGELOU
The author of I know Why The Caged Bird
Sings, is often known to check into a hotel
at 5 AM with writing pads, a bottle of
sherry, playing cards, a Bible and Roget’s
Thesaurus, with special instructions to the
staff to remove all stimuli from the walls
of her room. She would then write 12
pages, leave in the afternoon and then edit
the pages in the evening.
