How
far
can
one
understand a subject by
the virtues of selflearning? Most of us, at
some stage in life, have
learnt
things
by
ourselves. In fact, there
is a particular English
word that defines a selflearner: autodidact.
There have been scores of people
whose autodidactic skills have had
enormous impact on the world. In my
opinion, these personalities are those
whose autodidactic skills join hands
with their ingenious minds to produce
unbelievable creations. The cover
story dwells on the lives of few of
these autodidacts who have changed
the world.

Readers, who are interested in
music, might want to look at some
musical instruments described in

There are certain works of fiction
that I have read many times over
but that has not lessened the
impact of the plot. One such work
is the classic short story “The Last
Leaf” by O. Henry. If you have not
read it then head over to the Fiction
Writer’s Corner. If you have read it
before, then read it again. It’s a
brilliant emotional piece by the
master story teller.
Finally, I take great pleasure in
introducing a new contributor to the
e-zine: Nivedita N. Her first book
has been reviewed in the Reviewer’s
Corner. I would like to wish Nivedita
the very best for her book that
