THEY PACKED WHAT?!

My teapot, still full of tea. Nothing says "Welcome to your new home" like pouring yourself a cup of penicillin.

My kitchen drawer, literally; the actual drawer itself was packed. Fortunately, we noticed before the movers loaded up the truck and were able opened all the boxes to find it.

Garbage can, complete with full bag of garbage. Our stuff was in storage for three months while our house was readied, and the smell was nauseating.

They said they wouldn't take certain things, such as paints from my son's art set. So we were surprised when we couldn't find the can of touch-up paint from one of the bedrooms, then we checked. Sure enough, the can of paint, wet roller, and filled tray were packed. Fortunately, we'd covered them in plastic wrap.
