You will notice in the above photo, we put a
little time into some special features on our
training unit. The original configuration had no
power switch, so we added one. For your
viewing pleasure we added a window to the .2
micron filter housing that is used for 3 rd party
filter manufactures. In addition, both the A and
B side alcohol and detergent pumps can be
removed by taking out only one screw. The
video displays on each side are for the student
to look at while performing a PM on the unit.
They can also be used to show the PM
procedure being performed on a video that can
be made of your staff while they are doing their
PMs. We have also taken many photos of this
unit while doing a complete annual PM which
are available for viewing as well. Sure this took
a little time to complete, but the time is well
spent. This unit allows any student to spend
more time learning the theory of operation and
hands-on practical service applications, as you
will notice you can observe every single
component in the unit while it is operating.
Perhaps the OEM’s aren’t putting as much
money
into
delivering
high
quality
comprehensive biomedical training to the
industry as they should be?
As a community, we must bring more
innovation to the table within the training arena
and remember that our first priority for any in
house maintenance team is to reduce
equipment downtime, so the Doctors and
Clinical staff can better serve our patients.
