Bio: Alberto was recently promoted to Assistant Professor and Director of the Program for
Management Programs in Health Technology St Philips College, a member of the Alamo Colleges
in San Antonio, TX. These include the AAS in Biomedical Engineering Technology and a
certificate of progress in health technology management. As master certified, he is responsible for
research, planning and execution of the grant program degree and certificate. The BMET
program includes course to qualify for the A +, Net + and Security + certification exams, along
with the basics of medical devices in order to prepare for CBET. He also owns a small
engineering company VasCorp Clinical Engineering, online certification industry and continuing
education. He is president of education for the GOAL.

Bio: Chris is a Director of Clinical Engineer at Tyndall AFB, FL. Directs, supervises 32 FTEs and
functions as primary administrative contact to executive leadership for all Clinical Engineering,
Facilities Engineering, and Medical Supply activities. Professional expertise includes BMET
supervision, Mammography/Ultrasound/PACS/CT/MRI/X-ray modalities, code and regulation
compliance, strategic planning, project management, general/patient safety, health-care
information technology/computer networking/penetration testing, clinical research and device
investigation, Microsoft/Unix/Linux operating systems, educational program development/clinical
staff training, facility/medical supply management operations, decision support, process
improvement, CE-IT integration, hazard recall/alert management, and plant/medical supply
operations.
