BLOCK DIAGRAM OF AN ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC IMAGE EQUIPMENT

BRIEF EXPLANATION OF THE BLOCKS DIAGRAM

PROBE.

As it was shown before [1], [2], the probe is the device which receives electric pulses, converts it to mechanic waves and sends these waves into the body of the patient, also receives the echoes coming from the inner body of the patient, and converts the echoes (mechanics waves) into electric signals. There are several types of probes, according to the frequency, the shape, medical applications, the way the ultrasound lines are generated (mechanic or electronic way), etc. [1], [2].
