Can You See What META Sees? Stare beyond the “Highlights”; find the hidden flaws META spotted. You See: A breaker disconnect on the wall META Sees: A breaker panel without 36‖ inch clearance around the equipment so in case of an emergency technicians can properly shutdown the equipment at fault in accordance with NFPA 70e. Also, the floor should be properly marked and employees must be trained on lockout/tag out procedures. You See: A gap in the wall META Sees: An expansion joint that must be filled to prevent leaks between the two buildings. You See: Copper drain pipes running along the floor. META Sees: sloppy pipe work that is not bolted down to the floor and over time vibration will cause leaks in the soldered joints. Also, we see exposed hot copper pipes that require insulation to prevent employee burns. You See: A regular sterilizer room META Sees: An untidy room with paper and rags on the floor...this debris can support combustion in case of a fire. These areas must always be kept clean.
