Dear Readers,
Over the past few months, Medievalists.net has evolved. We have grown, welcoming two wonderful women onboard: Danièle Cybulskie and Danielle Trynoski. We’ve also undergone some significant, but positive changes. Co-founder Peter Konieczny has stepped down from his position as editor of The Medieval Magazine and taken on a dream job as full-time editor at Medieval Warfare Magazine. Peter will be contributing behind-the-scenes at Medievalists.net, while fellow co-founder Sandra Alvarez will be taking over as editor of The Medieval Magazine, welcoming new editor, Danielle Trynoski.
What does this mean for our readers? The Medieval Magazine will continue, bigger, and better than ever. The magazine will be published bi-monthly, instead of weekly, to offer you 24 fantastic issues per year. This enables us to increase the size and scope of the material we cover, bringing it from an average of 40 pages per publication, to an average of 50-60 pages, packed with even more articles, news, reviews and travel features. We will be offering a better payment plan, with more options. Our prices will reflect these changes to facilitate our growth and implement these improvements. We will also offer a discount for our current yearly subscribers so that they don’t lose out under the new changes.
We’d like to wholeheartedly thank our readers for their support over the past year and a half since the magazine launched. We look forward to this new chapter in Medievalists.net and to growing, and improving The Medieval Magazine.
Yours Truly,
Sandra and Dani
Exciting changes ahead for
