Letter from the General Manager
July 2017
We wished for rain in June and our wish was granted! The ponds are full and the turf is
green and growing. Hopefully we will settle into our pattern of late afternoon summer rains so we
can enjoy the courses and courts early in the day.
Summer Membership is progressing well with new Summer Members joining almost every
day. The season is long and the price is right for community members, friends and family to take
advantage of the summer membership offering and enjoy all the club has to offer. Pool parties,
Social events, Golf and Tennis tournaments fill the calendar this July for all Members to enjoy.
Please review the calendar on the website for the most current list of events at the club. We are
planning new events monthly as we listen to the comments from Members regarding events they
would like to experience this Summer.
Our Annual Member survey is complete and we will be reviewing the results. Plans are to
distribute the results in early July for all to review. I want to thank all who participated in the
survey in June. These results will help us focus the club in the coming months to the wants and
needs of our Members and Guests.
Course and Court Maintenance continues this Summer as we get to as many of the
necessary projects as possible in the heat of Summer. Course and Court availability will always be
posted on the website and mobile app along with emails distributed announcing any inclement
weather closures.
Junior Summer camps are in full swing with 3 weeks of camp completed in June. It is
not too late to sign up your child, grandchild, friend, or neighbor for the next Junior Sports
camp. Camps run weekly so no long term commitment. Sign up for one or all of the five
remaining this Summer. Sign-ups are available online, at the Tennis shop, or Membership office.
The clubs ongoing redevelopment project continues this month as survey work has been
completed and preliminary design layouts are being reviewed for the condo development.
Conceptual design work has started on our new Athletic Center near the pool and tennis complex.
The latest information can be found on our website with the Presidents letter and Redevelopment
memo that are posted each month. Plans are to keep the website information up to date as it is
the best source of current information for all Members to review.
Plan to join us at the club in July and experience a great “club” experience with family and friends.
As always it is a pleasure to serve,
Andrew Kingsley
