Biologic introduces the indispensable fix-it tool for folding bike enthusiasts

BioLogic, a specialist in urban cycling

gear, today unveiled the FixKit multi-tool, a super-thin, compact bicycle tool

that features a patented design with a high-leverage 15 mm wrench for axle

nuts and pedals in addition to 19 other handy tools.

“The worst thing on a ride is being stuck in the middle of nowhere and not

having that right tool to get back on the road,” stated Stewart Clarke, BioLogic

project manager. “The FixKit has a wide selection of standard tools, but it also

features a 15 mm crescent wrench to tighten or loosen pedals or axle nuts.

But without doubt, the most used tool is the bottle opener that let’s you crack

open a beer after a long ride.”

The tool’s patented design securely locks wrenches to the tool body, so the

body becomes an extended handle. With 14 cm of total leverage, the FixKit

can easily loosening tight axle nuts or pedals. The included neoprene pouch

can be slipped onto the body handle for a more comfortable and firmer grip.

The tool folds into a flat, compact size and can be easily slipped into pant

pockets or a ride jersey. The tool has dimensions of 14 × 40 × 77 mm (0.6 x

1.6 x 3.0") and weighs just 158 g (5.6 oz).
