something about its name drew me, but I learnt this labyrinth was only temporary and was now no longer available. However, something about it still stayed with me. I guess it was the name and what I took from it. “Trinity”. Yes, being in a mass media culture, it’s understandable that one of the first things that comes to mind is the character “Trinity” from “The Matrix”. Ever wonder why she is called “Trinity”? Well, it depends on your perspective, but notice how she is the feminine counterpart of Neo, so she plays a massive role in the story. Neo is the ones that most people relate to, due to his awareness of there being something not quite right with the world, but Trinity is a massive part of the story. She represents the strength, complete certitude in her purpose, a solid detachment from things of no use, absolute love and balance. There are several times when Neo actually relies on her certitude to get through. She is the balance. The Trinity is also the consciousness of the Mind, Body And The Spirit and almost every culture, religious and spiritual traditions, symbolise divinity as a holy trinity. In Christianity, it’s the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. In Ancient Egypt, The Three Wise Men, recognized in Christianity is also related to the 3 stars of the Belt of Orion, which the 3 Egyptian Pyramids are modeled after. The 3 stars also point to Osiris’ star Sirius. The Hindu Trinity, The One God is symbolized by three deities, as universal forces of the universe. Each aspect containing one another. Each deity also has it’s *female consort (feminine aspect) The Trimurti.  Brahma – creator of the universe. *Saraswati  Vishnu – preserver of the universe. *Lakshmi  Shiva - destroyer of the universe. *Kali The three gunas (fundamental attributes, modes of being)  Sattva – Purity (Essence)
