Jesus (AS) Beloved
Prophet of God
A gospel is a documented narrative that
takes us on a journey into the life and
teachings of Jesus, may peace be upon
him. Of the over 50 some gospels written,
only four gospels were accepted as part of
the New Testament. These four selected
gospels narrate the life of Jesus through
the eyes of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Explore the ancient scriptures of these
four men in order to unravel one of
histories greatest deceptions.
(MATTHEW 21:46) THEY HELD
HIM TO BE A PROPHET.
LUKE 7:16
EVERYONE WAS STRUCK WITH
FEAR AND PRAISED GOD. THEY
SAID, "A GREAT PROPHET HAS
APPEARED AMONG US," AND "GOD
HAS TAKEN CARE OF HIS PEOPLE."
LUKE 24:19
Matthew 21:11
The crowds kept saying, "This is the prophet
Jesus, the man from Nazareth in Galilee."
'WHAT THINGS?' JESUS ASKED.
'THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO
Matthew 21:46
JESUS, THE MAN FROM
NAZARETH.' THEY SAID. 'HE WAS
“they held him to be a prophet.”
Mark 6:4
Then Jesus told them, "A prophet is honored
everywhere except in his own hometown and
among his relatives and his own family."
A PROPHET WHO DID POWERFUL
MIRACLES, AND HE WAS A
MIGHTY TEACHER IN THE EYES
OF GOD AND ALL THE PEOPLE.'
John 4:19
"Sir," the woman said, "I can see that you are
a prophet."
John 7:40
On hearing his words, some of the people
said, “Surely this man is the Prophet.”
It becomes clear that the people of that time
accepted Jesus, peace be upon him, as a
prophet. Never making the association with
him being God.
John 6:14
When the people saw him do this miraculous
sign, they exclaimed, "Surely, he is the Prophet
we have been expecting!"
They were clearly referring to Moses, peace
be upon him, in the Old Testament, speaking
of a prophet who will come after him.
J OH N 5 : 1 9
THEN ANSWERED JESUS AND
SAID UNTO THEM, 'VERILY,
VERILY, I SAY UNTO YOU, THE
SON CAN DO NOTHING OF
HIMSELF, BUT WHAT HE SEETH
THE FATHER DO: FOR WHAT
THINGS SOEVER HE DOETH, THESE
ALSO DOETH THE SON LIKEWISE.
