AND FROM THE PAIR, ALLAH MOST HIGH CONTINUED THE FORMATION OF THE HUMAN RACE.  [4:1] “O people! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by Whom you demand one of another (your rights), and (to) the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you.” Man and woman are not the same. In fact, they are vastly different, more than is appreciated commonly. And interestingly, they both have their own purposes, in accordance with the way Allah has made them. This article will be focusing on the aspect of woman and her importance in Islam. As women are different from men, they are not equal. However, they are both equally important. And it is unfortunate that the world that we must live in is one in which few have grasped the concept of treating and respecting women the way they are meant to be treated and respected.  Of course, this has become a universally accepted phenomenon, and although many may differ with the word ‘phenomenon’ as used here, it is unfortunately true. It has not only been understood, but also accepted, that women are not treated as they should be. However, as AnsarAllah, who are striving to keep on the path of Allah s.w.t and reach Him through each the Path He Has Ordered us to Walk upon, it is essential that we understand and review these concepts, simply because it has become scarily easy to overlook and even deride them.
