would say that "My father Abdel Aziz, whenever he used to talk about Ali ibn Abi Talib, he would get nervous. So I used to say to my father, 'My father, whenever you speak about any man you are calm except Ali ibn Abi Talib, why?' To which my father would say to me, 'If the people knew the merits of Ali ibn Abi Talib, they would not have us as leaders.' "  But Umar bin Abdel Aziz got so affected by Imam Baqir (a.s) and a personal tutor that he, a Bani Ummayad Calipha, was the one who stopped the cursing of Imam Ali (a.s) on the Mimbar. After Imam Ali (a.s) and three Imams (a.s) after him, the cursing of Imam Ali (a.s) was stopped. Imagine, how much the ignorance had spread among the people. O ne day, when Umar bin Abdel Aziz became Calipha, he said to Imam Baqir (a.s)  "O Muhammad ibn Ali, you are the one who Rasool Allah sent his Salams to. I want to ask you a question, what three pieces of advice do you give me now that I have become Calipha?"  Umar bin Abdel Aziz could have gone to anyone else, but Baqir al Uloom, the man who splits knowledge is there anyone better to learn about Rasool Allah than him?
