and life path make them unique
in their status and their
relationship with their Lord,
acting as pure 'conduits'
between heaven and earth and
between Allah (swt) and
humanity.
This is the frontier of our
knowing of Allah (swt), our
Ibadat and fully developing the
Ruh Insaani, as such, only with
the mediation of the Ahlul Bayt
(a.s), who are the bridge
between heaven and earth.
How are we able to conceive
any of His titles and to begin to
'know' them? It is only through
sincere seeking to know Allah
(swt) through the Ahlul Bayt
(a.s), that human beings have a
chance of understanding to any
degree, His 'Tawheed'. We are
completely incapable of
conceiving who is Allah (swt),
who is "Hu" or "He", the
greater, greater, greater name!
Abu Abdillah (PBUH) said:
(Verily our matter is a secret
within a secret, and a secret
safeguarded with a secret, and
secret which does not benefit
except a secret, and a secret
upon a secret, and a secret
masked with a secret)
Explanation Book of Tawheed
by Imam Ahmad al Hassan "So
the secret of the secret's secret
is what? The true Essence of
Allah, the "He", Huwa, which
no one will understand except
Allah (swt). Allah the light
which there is no darkness, the
absolute beginning and end, the
complete Godhood.
So the secret of Allah (swt) in
creation is the Ahlul Bayt (as),
and Muhammad (sawas), their
secret is the Divine Essence,
understanding what Allah
described Himself with, that no
one will understand but a close
angel, prophet messenger or
tested believer, and that secret
is the "He", beyond the
attributes, that no one will
understand but Allah (swt)."
What Imam Ahmad (a.s) is
telling us is that to come 'Know'
Allah (swt) is to reach an
awareness that we can never
truly know Him at all, however,
we can understand to some
extent the Greatness of His
(swt) Titles, His (swt)
Attributes, to our own degrees
of comprehension, we have a
path for attaining Godcentricity and to each realize a
close proximity to Allah (swt).
This is what Imam Ahmad s.a
has told us:
Book of Tawheed: "But it is not
so ever that Godhood,
Lordship, and Divinity, that
these descriptions are the
reality and the truth, rather He
(swt) manifested and appeared
for His creatures with complete
perfection, for He is the
complete Lord, God...the One
whom they go to in order to
fulfill their shortcomings. And
He manifested fo ȁ!
