If you have a blockage in your heart from doing
this, then with all due respect sister, it is the ego that
wants to be like Michelle Obama instead of the Lady
of Light, Sayida Zainab (a.s), and it is the ego that
stops the mind from pondering over the instructions
and the wisdom of the instructions that Allah (swt)
has sent down. And it is the innocence of the
person, the innocence loved by Allah (swt) so much
that He Leads the servants to His Path so tenderly.
That is the innocence that dislikes the gazes of those
who want to satiate their desires by the appearance
of the Muslim woman.
[2:286] Allah does not impose upon any soul a
duty but to the extent of its ability…
Spirituality:
Insha’Allah there is no need to be kept away from
spirituality, just because you are in a sea of dead
zombies that seek to be drunk and do not incline
toward the soul, but incline towards the body. You
do not need to be like them.
