T H Ali said to him: "Didn't you know all this? What you are suggesting is that just as all of you abandoned the Messenger of God as soon as he died, I too should have abandoned him, and I too should have entered the Saqifa to contest the khailafat with you. This I could not do. Doing so would have been most unworthy of me. I could not forsake the Messenger of God in his death as I did not forsake him in his life." After these remarks, Ali (a.s) left the court of Abu Bakr which was held in the Mosque of the Prophet (s.a.w). Brothers and sisters, This just goes to show that the Leader of the Muslims is Chosen by Allah (sw)t and not the People. Ali (a.s) Proved this. So, why have elections and choosing Scholars become the fashion, when the Caliphate of Ali (a.s) was stolen by people who wanted to "Choose"? Why have people forgotten history? 20 E S T R A I G H T P A T H "There is, in their stories, instruction for men endued with understanding. It is not a tale invented, but a confirmation of what went before it,- a detailed exposition of all things, and a guide and a mercy to any such as believe" Qur'an (12:111) still they disregard and go against the Imam (a.s) of their time. We must look towards history and see what the people who walked the Earth before did and take their stories as lessons. Otherwise mistakes will be repeated. And in fact, they are being repeated. Imam Ahmad Al-Hassan (a.s), the Yamani (a.s) said, Now, Ahmed al-Hassan (a.s), the Messenger from the Mahdi (a.s) has arrived and people ran behind their scholars who sit on the Pulpit and speak against the Messenger. What is tragic is that the ones who pray for the Emergence of Mahdi (a.s), the ones who call themselves Shia of Ali (a.s) are doing exactly what Ali (a.s) was against. The Caliphate of Ali (a.s) was stolen because people believed in the Supremacy of People and disregarded the Commands of their Prophet (s.a.w). Now, the prayers of the ones who pray for the Emergence of Mahdi (a.s) have been answered, but La Howla wala Quowata Illah Billahil Aliyyul Azeem. “Blinded is the eye that does not see the Truth or neglects It. What is this trap they have made you fall into, O People? Is it logical that you are driven each time towards killing a prophet or successor or a righteously-working scholar and walking by the side of the deviant Clerics of Misguidance, then if they eliminate him you beat your chests and shed the tears of your eyes and show remorse for your abominable hideous act? Then you repeat the same thing again time after time, and you follow the deviant Clerics of Misguidance and the same snake stings you from the same hole every time.” “Awaken O Sleepers. Awaken O Dead.” Please do not forget the Imams (a.s), Ansar Allah and me in your Prayers and Dua.
