And yet there are Shias I have met who reject this pathway to Truth, even mocking it! Can they then love Sayyida Fatima (a.s)? And can she love them? May Allah (swt) keep us all safe from the disease that corrupts, that of envying Fatima (a.s) and her family, the Blessed Ahlul Bayt (a.s) for the blessings they were given. This is not an unnecessary prayer, but even Prophets (a.s) were reproved for their momentary wistfulness to receive such a status equal to the Ahlul Bayt (a.s). Whether it was Adam (a.s) who wished to eat from the same sacred Tree that was reserved for the Rizq of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s), or Musa (a.s) who wished to be the Qa’im (a.s) of the last Age. Although these desires stem from the wish to be the favored servants of an All Beneficent Allah (swt), one cannot reach for the prize without winning the race, and as Allah (swt) says in the Quran: to evolve. All people have their shortcomings, but so many people do not acknowledge their lack of an attempt to grow. Why not abandon music? Wear a Hijab? Stop paying lip service to a Dajjal system? Their hearts get tight at such statements and they respond to amr bil maroof with nothing but venom and putting their fingers in their ears. Some even accuse the Dawah giver of a holierthan-thou attitude. When naturally if you change the situation to a Muslim giving a non Muslim Dawah of Tawheed, or a 6
