Lady Fatima (a.s), a Pillar of Guidance By: Mufeed Allah (swt) Has Created all things good, but when creation was tested, only a few proved determined and steadfast enough to become gateways to His (swt) Mercy. Imagine you are climbing a mountain, and you were given a backpack full of mountain climbing gear so you are fully prepared. You have no cause to complain of deficiency, but you are distracted from your path by something and you give your focus to something else. Now your foot slips and you are scrambling to hold on to the cliff. Maybe you will fall and crash to the bottom of the mountain and be lost forever more. Or maybe you will appeal in that moment of crisis to Allah (swt), the Forgiver, and beg for His forgiveness through the Gateways of His Divine Mercy. And the Gateway of Mercy, Pillar of Guidance will extend their hand and help you up again. And Imam Ahmad al-Hassan (a.s) has said in al Mutashabbihat (The Allegories); “And the three names, (Allah, Al Rahman, Al Raheem) in Divinity or the Divine self are pillars to the Greatest, Greatest, Greatest name (Huwa),and the three names consider the Divine city of perfection Allah, the exterior of the door and its interior, Al Rahman Al Raheem. And these three names in creation are Muhammad, Ali and Fatima or the city of knowledge: Muhammad and its exterior of the door and interior are, Ali and Fatima (pbut respectively). And these three names are the pillars of the Greatest, Greatest, Greatest name (Allah, Al Rahman, Al Raheem) . 17.110] Say: Call upon Allah or call upon Al Rahman; whichever you call upon, He has the best names; And these three names which are (Muhammad, Ali and Fatima (a.s) are the greatest name, so Muhammad (sawas) is from Allah, so he is the book of Allah, he even is Allah (swt) in creation. Ali ibn abi Talib andFatima (as), are from the mercy of Allah, so they are Al Rahman and Al Raheem. [19.50] And We granted to them of Our mercy (Rahmatuna), and We left (behind them) a truthful mention of eminence for them." So we see that the Prophet (s.a.w), Ali (a.s) and Fatima (a.s) are the Pillars of Mercy, as Imam Ahmad Al Hassan (a.s) says with regards to the 63
