threw rocks at the Prophet of Allah (s.a.w), it was Fatima (a.s) that came and cleaned and helped. And as much as Fatima (a.s) loved the Prophet (s.a.w), he loved her back. Importance of Fatima Fatima (a.s) is a model for Muslim women. She sets an example for Muslim women. She is the most important lady on this universe and always will be. When Muslim women wear hijab they should be proud because they are copying Lady Fatima (a.s), who after all is the Mistress of All Women. When we help others and give charity we again should be proud because we are doing as Fatima (a.s) would have done. An example of her generosity is when on her wedding day, a poor lady came and asked for some clothes. Fatima (a.s) had only two dresses, the new one that she was going to wear on the wedding and an old one. Fatima (a.s) gave her the new wedding dress instead of the old one. Fatima Zahra (a.s) is, and should be the inspiration of all women. She was exactly like her father, Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), and we should learn from her honesty, modesty and loyalty. She is truly in a rank of her own and truly a Mercy Sent by Allah (swt). 49
