A Sho" Explanation of ! 'He' and 'I'
By: Aunslaught ihd
Bismillah Hir Rahman Irr Rahim,
A Short Explanation of the “He” and
the “I”
Imam Ahmad Al Hasan (a.s), the
Right Hand and Messenger of Imam
Muhammad Mahdi (a.s) states:
"The Human Self is light and
darkness and by the amount of
control of the light and suppression
of the darkness in the human is his
knowing of his Lord. And if I call
the things by its names then the
light is "He" and the darkness is "I"
for every time you say "I" instead of
"He" you will find the darkness has
become greater in yourself and you
have gone away from knowing and
came closer to ignorance and
blindness. And every time you said
"He" instead of "I" you shall find
the light has spread on your page of
existence until the person knows
that his very existence is a sin,
because what makes his existence
special is his mixture with darkness
and its source is the "I" and its
asking to stay and exist in exchange
for Allah.... and Iblis was destroyed
for saying "I" so beware... "He said:
"I am better than he: Thou didst
create me from fire, and him from
clay." - Surah Al Araf verse 12
answer if answered fully lies in
attempting to Know Allah (swt).
Then from that knowing what rebels
against Allah (swt), i.e that truly
realizing whatever attempts futilely
to resist Allah (swt).
In this article this one paragraph
that is full of such immense,
beautiful knowledge will
Insha’Allah be explained in the
attempts of the worthless author of
the article and Insha’Allah for the
sake of Allah (swt).
So the Human can choose his
destiny, and side either with the
darkness in his heart or the light in
his heart. How is it that the human
will know the light and the dark in
his heart? Imam Ahmad a.s said:
"Not everything that fights
darkness is light, but everything
that fights light is darkness, so
know the light, and you will know
the darkness."
True intention to please Allah (swt),
and from that truly realizing
whatever opposes this intention.
Truly realizing the actions that
please Allah (swt), and from that
truly realizing whatever opposes
that action.
How do we understand Light? A
small portion of the answer to this
question that would have an intense
So basically by analyzing the inner
thoughts we would know the Light
and Darkness in our souls more. To
analyze the inner thoughts we
would need to question immensely
whatever is thought. In order to
realize the truth, we must go to the
inner depths. “Plunge into the
depths until you find the Truth.” –
Imam Ali (a.s). So we must reflect
and question immensely what is
present inside our souls, minds and
hearts, and to thus realize what is
Light in that and what is Darkness.
