It all began during my first year of teaching at the Professional Institute for Tourism "Graziani" in Sorrento. In a small dark room there were several hundred books, unrelated to each other. Only the colleague of geography saw them as a set such as to be called library. In her, however, the female aspect prevailed over the rigor of the scholar and I, poor Sicilian catapulted there from the Cuneo Langhe, I had to find a friendship. First rule, changing city: break the circle of solitude.
So, I divided my days into three perfectly equal parts: in the morning I practiced my storytelling skills with my colleague; in the afternoon I read literature and essays on art; in the evening I chatted with unknown artists in the gallery La Scogliera in Vico Equense (the city where I had found a house).
