Quantum Biology’s Child Breaks Forth

Someone spoke recently of the symmetrical geometrical formula associated with the hexagonal shapes of dried mud on the desert floor, of which the sun curled edges belonged to a strange asymmetrical dimension – and there it was – a precious image that had sat on my shoulder for a couple of decades, waiting to be painted…. and now demanding…..

At Betoota on the endless gibber plains near Birdsville, at the edge of Australias’ great Simpson Desert, Willie and I, with the camels and his wagon, camped in the shade of the water towers that served the lonely hotel, amidst all the old broken debris of this abandoned early pioneer settlement. The remnants of an old rusty Victorian wrought iron cot twisted the heart, the greater mystery of seeing it stood up in the burning hot desert sands and shards of mud begged the question…. What strange child had broken from this cradle?

“I’m going to do a painting of this,” I told Willie and promised myself.

Two decades later the asymmetrical image announced itself again…. its own time was arriving. What child was emerging into existence here? Why, it is the Quantum’s child! Indeed – Quantum Biology’s Child! No less!
